Tom Finney played for Preston north End in a career that spanned 14 years with the club between 1946 and 1960. He is the clubs leading goal scorer of all time with 187 goals and helped Preston finish off their 1953 – 1954 FA cup campaign as runners up. He has played for England on 76 occasions.
